第34回「ゆかる日 まさる日 さんしんの日」ハワイから生放送!

満月が浮かぶハワイの夜、沖縄の伝統楽器・三線の音色が静かに響きました。
第34回「ゆかる日 まさる日 さんしんの日」ハワイからの生放送♪
会場は、ハワイ曹洞宗 ワイパフ太陽寺。沖縄で毎年行われる「さんしんの日」は、三線の文化と音色を世界各地で共有する日として知られています。
ハワイでは、琉球古典安冨祖流音楽研究 朝一会USA の皆さんが参加。
同会は第1回の「さんしんの日」からこの取り組みに関わり、ハワイにおいて琉球古典音楽を継承し続けています。
この日、まさんどぅ先生は師である 照喜名朝一先生 との思い出を語り、
その教えと精神が、今も弟子たちの演奏と学びの中に息づいていることを伝えました。
今年はさらに特別な機会となりました。照喜名先生のご子息であり、琉球古典音楽の継承者でもある照喜名朝國（Tomokuni Terukina）先生 が、初めてハワイから参加されたのです。
演奏後も朝國先生を囲み、熱心に教えを受ける姿が見られ、世代を越えて受け継がれる琉球古典音楽の深い絆を感じる時間となりました。
その後はそのまま和やかな交流の場へ。
平日の3月3日、ハワイの夜でしたが、三線の音色を通して結ばれた仲間たちが語らい、文化の継承と人のつながりを感じるひとときとなりました。
沖縄からハワイへ、そして次の世代へ。三線の響きとともに受け継がれる琉球の文化は、海を越え、人から人へと静かに受け継がれています。
Sanshin Day – Live Broadcast from Hawaii
Under the full moon over Hawaii, the gentle sound of the sanshin, Okinawa’s traditional three-string instrument, filled the evening air.
The 34th “Yukaru Hi Masaru Hi – Sanshin Day” live broadcast from Hawaii was held at Taiyoji Temple in Waipahu.
Celebrated each year in Okinawa, Sanshin Day connects communities around the world through the music and culture of the sanshin.
In Hawaii, members of Afuso-ryu Classical Ryukyu Music Kenkyu Chōichikai USA gathered for the occasion.
The group has participated since the very first Sanshin Day, continuing to preserve and share Ryukyuan classical music across the Pacific.
During the program, Masandu-sensei spoke about his beloved teacher, the late Choichi Terukina, whose teachings continue to inspire generations of musicians.
This year carried special meaning, as Tomokuni Terukina, the son of Choichi Terukina and a successor of the tradition, joined the Hawaii gathering for the first time.
Even after the performance ended, members gathered around him to continue learning and receiving guidance—reflecting the living tradition of Ryukyuan classical music passed down across generations.
Though it was a weekday evening in Hawaii, the gathering naturally continued into a warm exchange of music, conversation, and community.
From Okinawa to Hawaii—and onward to future generations—
the sound of the sanshin continues to carry the spirit of Ryukyuan culture across the ocean.
