ユキさんとは、実に数年ぶりの再会。Tokyo FM横のカフェで、スタジオ入り、生放送前にお会いしました。アメリカ・ハワイ州生まれのユキさん。ハワイ、ジョージア、ニューヨーク、カンザス、韓国など、米軍基地内、そして日本と、実に多様な文化の中で育ってこられました。幼少期からモデルとして、ティーンズ雑誌で活躍。90年代からはテレビの音楽番組VJ、そしてFM局のDJとして活動をスタート。完璧なバイリンガルで、本当にかっこいい、心から大好きなお人柄も現れる温かい“声”の持ち主です。

そしてプライベートではとても自然体。以前、ハワイで私にとても悲しい出来事があった時、AO Rの番組チームとして、すぐに温かいメッセージを届けてくださったことがあり、その優しさに胸がいっぱいになったのを今でも忘れられません。

そんなユキさんが、今回は年末年始にかけての makana.fm のジングルボイス を届けてくださいました。

ユキ・ラインハートは、JFN系列30局ネットで全国放送されているラジオ番組「AOR」のパーソナリティー。

番組「A・O・R with Yuki Rhinehart」10周年をハワイ・ホノルルで祝ったことにより、
2017年10月23日・24日の2日間が
「A・O・R with Yuki Rhinehart 10th Anniversary Days」として
ホノルル市長より公式に制定された。

昨年（2025年）ハワイの知人に特注でオーダーしてもらったコアの木の額〜今は我が家のリビングルームの目立つところに飾っています。

また、英会話教育者として主宰する
**「ユキ・ラインハートの3ヶ月で英会話絶対しゃべれるプロジェクト」**では、
英語の文法を非常に大切にしながらも、
日本の学校英語で使われがちな専門用語には極力頼らず、
英語の文章がどのように組み立てられているのかを、
シンプルな言葉で解説している。

フレーズの暗記や感覚的な学習ではなく、
英語の基本構造を理解し、自分で文を作れるようになることを目的としたプログラムで、
「英語が苦手」「文法がよくわからない」と感じてきた人でも、
無理なく段階的に理解を深められる設計になっている。

本人が直接指導する全12本、総収録時間10時間55分のビデオ講座と、
282ページに及ぶPDFテキストを通して、
英語の仕組みを“わかったつもり”で終わらせない学習環境を提供。

言葉を扱うプロとしての視点と、

Yuki Rhinehart

Yuki Rhinehart is a radio personality for the nationally syndicated JFN program “AOR,” broadcast across 30 stations in Japan.
She is also active as a narrator and singer, working across a wide range of fields through voice and language.

Through years of work in radio and narration, she has developed a professional command of voice —
a clear, easy-to-listen-to delivery that conveys information accurately and effortlessly.
Her control of tone, pacing, and phrasing is grounded in extensive on-air experience.

In recognition of her cultural contributions bridging Japan and Hawaii through voice, language, and music,
and in celebration of the 10th anniversary of her radio program “A・O・R with Yuki Rhinehart,” held in Honolulu,
October 23 and 24, 2017 were officially designated as
“A・O・R with Yuki Rhinehart 10th Anniversary Days”
by Mayoral Proclamation of the City of Honolulu.

As an English educator, Yuki leads
“Yuki Rhinehart’s 3-Month English Speaking Project.”
In this program, she places great importance on English grammar itself,
while deliberately avoiding the technical terminology commonly used in Japanese school English.

Instead, she explains how English sentences are structured using simple, accessible language,
helping learners understand the logic of English without unnecessary complexity.

The program focuses on understanding core sentence structure and learning how to build one’s own sentences,
rather than memorizing phrases or relying on intuition alone.
It is designed so that even learners who have struggled with grammar in the past
can progress step by step with clarity and confidence.

All lessons are taught directly by Yuki through 12 video sessions
(total runtime: 10 hours and 55 minutes),
supported by a comprehensive 282-page PDF textbook.
Together, they provide a learning environment that ensures learners do not stop at
“thinking they understand,” but truly grasp how English works.
